the need for glasses to read the warning captions was already a bit of an encumbrance
When the Lightning OCU lodged at Marham for 6 months I had the good fortune to get a trip in a T4. My illusions about steely-eyed fighter pilots were shattered when the youngish pilot produced a pair of specs when he was doing the pre takeoff checks and put them on.
Great flight though
