That timeframe was after being placed on the hold file. There is no real "normal" time that it takes, it is all down to crew requirements and being able to run courses etc.
Aimpoint - Start date offers for domestic include an expected base, where the company envisages they need crew at the time.
Congratulations on making the hold file and all the best with what is ahead. I agree totally with some of the advise above, take what is offered to you first.
