Only base available at moment is Sydney. Virgin will get you to Sydney
however if your domicile is not Sydney at the company's expense. I may be corrected from others.

. If you accept a VAI RFO position, your base will be Sydney, but you can nominate MEL or BNE as your domicile (i.e. don't have to move house)? Then the company picks up the flight costs to Sydney prior to a trip, but not the accommodation? Does this happen from day one, or after spending a certain amount of time with the company?
For any VAI 777ers out there, what is the roster like each month? I've heard two trips per month, but not sure what sort of break, that means between each trip, or the length of the layover.
One last question (the answer to I couldn't find in the previous 400 posts). Once you're taken off the hold file, what's the process? Do they offer you a fleet type and base, or just the fleet type with the base TBC during training? Obviously SYD for the 777, but how about the e-jet?
