The story of P2-PAV

Hello forum.

I have read the threads in here regarding the tragic end of P2-PAV in Afghanistan - but i wonder if any here can tell me the full story, or guide me to where I can find more information. I will explain why.

I am Norwegian and have lived many years on Svalbard/Spitsbergen, a group of Islands in the high Arctic. The P2-PAV formerly served under the Governor of Svalbard as LN-OQS. That is until 23rd of December 1982 when the main rotor hit the sea ica during a steap final turn and crashed at Kapp Wijk. No one was seriously injured. They were flying an annual "christmas trip" to all the outposts on the archipelago. At Kapp Wijk there lived a lonely hunter waiting for a visit. Surprised he was experiencing a "rough" landing 300 meters below the cabin. The hunter still lives there and have a part of the tail rotor at nailed to the cabin wall.

I want to write an article about the LN-OQS / P2-PAV for the local newspaper on Svalbard. But I need good sources and hopefully some in here can help me...
