Maybe this explains the rumour that CHC were sniffing around Wattisham asking AAC pilots how much they would take to fill the co-pilots seat on a SAR aircraft - anything to cut costs (allegedly)
Bodes well for the future of UK SAR if that is the sort of game to be played - not!
