Thanks for reminding me about that one; as I recall it was a BCAL (or BUA?) 1-11 out of Milan. The ATCO was allegedly Mike Bloodworth aka Major Bloodnock. I wonder if anyone knows if it is true?
Mike was (and hopefully still is) a nice chap; I remember him asking lots of detailed questions all the time at work. Someone said that he had a tape recorder with him on the F/F and having walked away from the crash confronted the Capt with a mike and asked if he could say why the aircraft crashed!
I suspect the reply was (unintelligible) as they say
