This may be a very naive and uninformed question from your point of view but I am willing to take that risk.
My question is as follows:
To which extent would you say that the MD-80 family of aircrafts differs - broadly speaking - from its predecessor the DC-9 family?
In case of there being any differences of significance would you assess that these differences are noticeable to passengers?
The reason that I am posting this question is that I am currently involved in a dispute on this exact topic at a consumer site known by the name of
