It's just possible the road diversions could actually work better than the current badly-surfaced, roundabout-infested nonsense, aka Lusail Road - but I'm not holding my breath.
All of Doha is going to be a traffic nightmare when they eventually start building the Metro - it's largely underground so the trucks removing spoil and delivering tunnel liners are going to cause major disruptions. There will be no way of avoiding it......
