Just had a look at Thai tax rates on the internet and you only pay if you in the country over 180 days per year and on this sort of job you wouldn't be. The other factor for non residents seemed to be if your income originated in Thailand and it will not so perhaps you will be able to get away without paying tax in Thailand. I am no expert on this though so maybe I have it wrong.
