Dealing with Difficult Designers
I'm sure this is something that has happened to everyone in flight testing - dealing with designers or other engineers or managers who don't want to hear 'bad' news.
We get enough trouble in flight test by putting pet theories or designs up against reality, but how have you handled it?
I'm trying to find some advice to give to those coming into the flight test business so that they can learn to be both diplomatic and effective in making sure the message gets accepted.
Any examples (suitably sanitized) would be most welcome.
