Assuming your IAA medical is a JAR medical it will automatically be considered an EASA medical & good for an EASA licence, but the authority that issues your licence should also hold your medical records.

Page 6 of this document says that you can avoid retaking the medical by asking the IAA to send a copy to the CAA.
