This article is a few months old, but has some validity. The red tape and airspace problems are no big deal, just something to get enraged about over beer.
Regarding pilot pay and conditions, I wonder what would make it worthwhile for more pilots to come over here? Pay doesn't seem that bad from talking to the full-time pilots I've spoken with here, but they don't have any chance of a rotating schedule, so it's pack up the family and move.
