But it is noteworthy that the same manager ran both the PA and the Airtex audits. The results were so very different.
Maybe there is a difference to how the respective organisations reacted to the audit? The PA CASA audit seems to indicate 100% cooperation, does the Airtex one? PA had a very big brother with deep pockets to back up their promises. Said big brother also has a good relationship with CASA and runs a very tight, compliant and safe ship (its apparently about the only charge their employees don't level at them).

Also to compare apples with apples; didn't Airtex get a special audit and were allowed to operate after their Metro fatal accident? If PA had another accident (and of course we all hope this never happens) would you expect them to retain an AOC?

If you argue that PA should have lost their AOC after Norfolk (and maybe they should have) shouldn't you argue that Airtex should have after the Metro accident?
