There seems to be at least two schools of thought here re speed awareness via the computer. One: The pilots acknowledged speeds loss, so what is the big deal? Two: We only know for certain that it happened at eleven seconds into the Law Change, and the consequent cascade of ECAM, aural alerts, etc.
It is reasonable to assume it was available at loss of auto, but the discussion is centered on the quality of data and its immediacy, not trying to push the agenda that no improvements are needed.....that is not a good tack, imo.
