That is my point, exactly. It is more than that, it speaks of an ignorance at the most basic level of how things work, and how a pilot needs to assimilate data.
More than any other "improvement", the logic needs a laundering. Positioning a stick to a percentage, to gain a deflection, and waiting for the response of the airframe is lunacy.
At the most basic level, the airbus forestalls the decision a pilot must make immediately, or....Pay the consequences of starting behind, and having to catch up.
36 prior UAS? Nothing to exonerate the bus there, no specific procedure, mostly dumb luck...
How does a pilot stay ahead of the airbus?
