B24?
I had heard of a cross on Mt Yule but never seen it in the 90s. But I was told it was to commemerate the loss of many lives (more than a normal crew) when a B24 (or similar large bomber) crashed into Mt Yule in WW2, this may be utter nonsense of course and I have never heard any details on such a crash.
