We have seen this many times.
Your PPL # may be 12345, your EASA PPL # will have an addional few numbers.
Your FAA 61.75 states "issued on the basis of pilot license # 12345" so you need to go through the again.
Your flight review is still valid.
And no, your Instrument rating should carry over.
