Dan Airs profit was the Duty free sales
If I remember correctly, the charter operator made its money from the last 5-10 seats sold, and Dan made its profit from the Duty free sales.
So nothing has realy changed, just now it includes: hold bags and fees for printing boarding cards, loan of safety cards..
How did Laker make its money...????
