The Crew probably were made aware of a deflating tyre on the Gear Page. Slowly going flat, notified all concerned and landed.

I had the same thing on a 77W LAX to HKG 4 years ago. #3 main went flat after TO over a 2 hour period. We notified LAX to check the Runway ( nothing )
Spoke to HKG ATC and briefed them on what we needed and then Landed ok.

Didn't touch the brakes at all on the left side and parked at the gate.

The Engineer on headset said "what's the problem with the number 3 Tyre it looks ok"? Then he got a tyre pressure gauge, flat as a tack!! I never found out why it went flat, probably a nail while leaving LAX?

It was non event in the end but we went through the motions anyway. ( had 15 hours to think about it !! )
