Is the long routing, 9 stopovers over 1 week to reach Ghana, in fact from Xi'an Xian part of regulatory compliance, test flighting or to complete all work related with customising the machine for AWA?
The route takes only 3 days from China to Ghana, but the remaining days were budgeted to complete the final export paperwork from China. The various inspections, tests, etc.. have already been conducted over the last month.

The aircraft flew from Tianjin to Changsha to Kunming today - its first flights on the Ghana register as AFW801. It leaves China tomorrow morning for Kolkata and Ahmedabad. It is due to arrive in Accra on Thursday 30th August afternoon.

Sister ship 9G-AEU will also be ready for delivery sometime next week and is expected in Accra shortly thereafter.
