The Spanish Government have called for an enquiry into the incident and have stated that there is a possibility following the results of the enquiry that Ryanair could have its license revoked. Since Spain in general and the southern autonomous communities in particular are desperate for the revenue from the tourism generated by low cost flights, such an action seems very unlikely.
