XLC, I had a conversation as promised, and was told that M332 has no inherent problems one should be wary of, except the usual precautions applicable to all supercharged engines. In terms of general features, one should be aware of its substantially different effect on weight and balance, as it is narrower and longer than Lycomings/Continentals. M332 is a low-compression engine and is approved for mogas. The M332C modification has an automatic mixture adjustment. TBO is 2000 hours. There are relatively few shops that would overhaul them, but both LOM Praha itself and W Motor Service (the shop where I am based) are alive and well and have no intention of discontinuing their services.
