Mission Pilots at Aitape
The pilot third from the left is indeed Gordon Campbell. He owned a C205, P2-KNC. I see from my log book that I ferried it from Moresby to Vanimo 3/9/1975 for Gordon. Stayed overnight at his pub and next day flew him back to Moresby stopping at Angoram and Goroka. He was happy to let me clock up the hours. On climb, at about 5000ft. and above, had fuel vaporization problems and had to use low boost on the fuel pump from time to time to fix the problem. I don't know if this was a problem specific to KNC or a general Cessna 205 problem.
