Thinking Of Becoming A Pilot

I was thingking of becoming a A&P mechanic but over the past few weeks i have been hearing bad things from other mechanics about the feild.

So i was thinking of pilot .
If you are a pilot please tell me how the feild is if it is worth going into and any other info you can share
