Thanks for the reply and info!

I´ll be requesting verification of my foreign license in order to acquire an ATP on an aircraft I already hold over 3.000 hours as SIC. So basically, I´ll sit the ATP written and then get a FAA ATP with a PIC Typerating. However, my original license has it´s IR already expired and I was wondering if I´d have to renew it before sending the verification form to the applicable FSDO. Or will it be a waste of time and money?

Another thing is that I have also a Chinese CAAC ATP license issued on the basis of my original one, and that one is valid and current. But, I´ve been told that the FAA doesn´t verify chinese licenses...rather yet, the chinese don´t communicate well with any other Civil Aviation Agencies. Anyone has any experience on verifying CAAC licenses in the US?

Cheers!
