Requirements for upgrade:
max 55 yrs of age, no disciplinary action, a minimum of 2 LPC/OPC and 1 line check with grade 4 (3???) as average.
3 yrs from line check AND operating SFO;
total 5000 hrs on narrow body,
6000 hrs on A300,
6500 hrs on A330-A340-B777
apart from this the SFO MUST have been in the fleet for at least 2 yrs and have 1000 hrs flown in the aircraft where the upgrade is taking place, AND, FOR WB he must have flown at least 2000 hrs of experience on a/c > 100.000 kgs MTOW.
Now, the question is ...: WHY THE MANAGEMENT SELECTED 3 PILOTS EX A330 FOR THE UPGRADE ON B777 WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT YET?
Some guys says they had an agreement with the management prior their course on B777....
So, the good news is that a sort of negotiations is possible in this airline
