The Cub is on a PFA permit. Im not sure what you mean about the AAN number. The PFA required information from GT regards the suitability of the prop for a Cub. Being Italian with limited English this exchange took a while to say the least!
Im not a expert, but I think although series built and certified, A/C like the Cub operating on a PFA permit are not strictly tied to the 'official' approved prop list and can, at the PFA's discression be fitted with non certified props. This is not widely known even amongst inspectors and not actively encouraged.
When finally approved the prop change went through as a standard PFA mod subject to an inspector's sign off for fitting and satisfactory ground runs and air test, which I did
