I would suggest that you have a read of some of the recent Ryanair threads on here - where the discussions surround the ongoing use of contractors and how it is illegal to leave them in post for extended periods.
The use of contractors in this manner is known as 'disguised employment' by HMRC under IR35. Tax evasion - hence
an illegal misuse of contractors.
