The story about the CB being pulled is bogus.
Quite so - that was one of the cornerstones of the hatchet job which, sadly, went viral very soon after the accident.
It was a case of all four run up against the parking brakes, and (IIRC) when it started to move, rather than retard thrust, the crew tromped on the brake pedals, which released the brakes on the center MLG.
That's precisely what the official report said.
