The idea of ringing someone else if I want more fuel doesn't sit well with me.
I don't think that was said. What I said was "
But when faced with pure grot, I'll give then a call" which means just that. It's their train set and if THEY want me to carry more fuel, then they'll say so. Otherwise, as usual, I'll make my own mind up. The idea of the call is to find out what the company want. Sometimes they are so keen for us to get to our planned destination that we take well in excess of two hour's holding fuel.
All clear now?
