The short field pack would be ideal for LBA, however, it was only an option from about 2005 so probably too shiny for Jet2. It reduces vRef and consequently landing distance, energy related to the square of the speed and all that. The other option is carbon brakes which makes a difference. The standard -800 has similar brakes to the -300 and is significantly heavier with much higher approach speed. As has been previously stated the issues really only relate to landing at Leeds on a wet runway, dry is generally ok unless the crosswinds are up and the aircraft has winglets. I'm not sure if any of FR's aircraft have the SFP.
