arrowhead, its only if you or the medical officer have any concerns about the state of your vision, for example if you go on a medication that causes possible visual issue, ie change of colour of the eye ball ie jaundice, then they might ask to retest to check no damage to the fovea, which contains your colour vision rods/cone.
