I was
trying to spell out that the Iranians are very clever at adapting all sorts of stuff. The AWG-9 is capable of seeing ships and locking onto them - in fact RIOs would use the blue-water capability to find their flat-tops all the time. I also fired a Skyflash at a target
floating in Cardigan Bay ably supported by AI-24 FOXHUNTER; so if the Iranian Tomcat/Hawk combination is able to do the same then that 54kg warhead in the missile would do considerable damage.
Hopefully, I've made myself a little clearer?
