I am hearing the improved Bell 412EP will be available from Bell at the end of 2013. This will include the PT6T-9 engines with EEC, BLR Fast Fin, Strakes and MFD cockpit. Initial deliveries will be conversions from standard 412EP configuration done at Piney Flats until the assembly line at Mirabel is converted to the new configuration. That will make the initial deliveries more expensive than the later deliveries with everything done in Mirabel.
The improvements to performance will be pretty much as Over Controlled posted above.
