Thanks Mac. I suppose I was just lucky in that I had a regular 52K connection and rarely dropped below 5KB/sec. I suppose there were also times when I didn't realize that had I not been using the accelerator I wouldn't have been getting the speed I was.
As I said, I'm quite happy to use it, but I don't think I ever noticed a real difference; just handy for the resume function. And the price is certainly right.
