I am very pleased that Rebak enjoys the job - good on him/her.
Sadly, most people don't - particularly those who have been there a while. I hope Rebak remains as chirpy when he/she has been there a few years and gets to the top of the increments. Once that happens and you get 'stuck' at T3, it doesn't buoy your spirits quite so much. If Rebak has been here for years and still enjoys it - great!
Also, if Rebak hasn't been there for a while, he/she hasn't experienced the erosion in pay and working conditions that has happened over the past 5 or 6 years. This has a very caustic, long-term and negative influence on people, as the good things that offset the lowish pay have now vanished.
I think people at T3 DO actually realise that they are fortunate to be in a flying job - it just gets wiped from their minds by the 475th idiotic roster change of that week...
