Great pctures:

Many years ago (1969 ) I flew a Super Cub in the Canadian Arctic with "BIG" tundra tires. We were contracted to fly geologists all over the Arctic.

The picture of the Super Cub on the mountain top is exactly like one I landed on in the Arctic, it also took several days to get the right wind and very careful approaches with break offs before I commited to actually land the thing. My biggest problem was manhandling the bas...d into the correct position to launch it back off the mountain top. I almost lost it over the side trying to get it in place.

As long as the wind and turbulence is safe it really is no big deal to land a Super Cub on an area such as in the picture.

What could be a big deal is fu....g up the landing.

I thought long and hard before I posted this as there is a very thin line between professionalism and stupidity, but we all do risky things and not to admit to it is unprofessional.
