I'm glad to report that Jon took me up on my offer to fly in to Wings & Wheels at Wellesbourne on 17 June and park his aircraft next to XM655, a Vulcan that he flew on several occasions back in the day.
Later on, Jon and a record breaking number of spectators watched as '655, crewed by David Thomas, Mike Pollitt, John Laycock and Barry Masefield did this:
Six wheels in the air (just briefly)!
Lots of other former Vulcan aircrew around that day, including BEagle!
