I think, FED, that all of the 'super' pilots have experienced UUDD already on 330/340
. After all, the classic Bus flew there for a very long time before the 777 ventured that way (at least the EK ones anyway). It's really no big-deal. The de/anti-icing is as reliable as you'll get anywhere and there are fleets of snow-ploughs when needed
