International Airlines Group (IAG) CEO Willie Walsh said IAG is not interested in acquiring Aer Lingus or the Irish Government’s 25% stake in the carrier (Irish Times, 03-Jul-2012). Mr Walsh also said there was potentially “some merit” to Ryanair's argument it should be allowed to acquire Aer Lingus. Mr Walsh said IAG is focusing on integrating bmi into its operations.
