Not sure where you get the impression the flybe. will be pulling off the NCLBHD route. To my knowledge flybe. have no intention of just rolling over and letting easyjet have all the spoils. There are many areas where flybe have a distinct advantage over easy.
- The fares on this route are already low and with the offer flybe. had before christmas of flying free to Belfast I would not say that flybe would be any more expensive that easyjet, they are certainly not acting as if they have a monopoly.
- easy's flights will not be going into BHD.... BHD being much closer to the centre of Belfast and more convenient for business/leisure users alike.
- easy will certainly not have 5 flights a day!
It is worth remembering that flybe. are still operating the BRSBHD route a good year and a half after the arrival of GO, completing strongly on price and service and coincidentally easyjet have now reduced the schedule from 2 flights to just 1 a day for summer 2003.
This must be the first time Easy have rolled over because the competition is too hot!
