The Fairy Rotodyne
The Rotodyne was a very noisy proposal for a Gyrocopter Airliner, in the 1950's - From memory it had two turboprop Napier Eland engines? a stub wing and the familiar gyrocopter rotary four bladed rotor, that was jet powered. I just missed out on a Airfix model 40 Years ago.
A sort of Birmingham or Bristol to London, commuter Aircraft.
