I have known some instructors working there : Good Experience, Great instructors, New Airplanes, Great Students, Cool Management, No idea about the salary, 7 to 8 hours per day, 2 days weekend... Just be serious and correct otherwise you'll be in trouble like the EX states guys....
I think instructors have an ID90 with QR, not so sure !!
CFI from Iran, CGI from England, i have met them few times, great great guys Head of training was changed 3 times in the past 2 years , They have acting HOT (Works currently with the QCAA) for the moment from UK he's great too.
Some instructors used it as a transit point to Qatar airways, i've met some who did it.....Good luck with the NOC though !
You read alot about Qatar, Mostly hate it but they still work in there... I personally love the place, Peaceful, secure, easy peasy life, Comparing it to KSA, it's way open, Multi national etc .... Have to get used to the heat ( May to OCT ) and happy days !
