I think Saab producing an all new aircraft on their own is an illusion. However there are many parties who would like to be involved in the developing countries. There seems to be demand for 100 seat aircraft, operating with jet like speed and comfort inbetween traditional RJ's on the bigger jets, with better efficiency.
