I'm not discounting the value in the surrounding land, not to mention what could be done with the site if the airport was closed.
Nor do I think it very likely that we will see commercial flights again, especially as the outside edge scenario of Bmibaby winding down and creating an opportunity for ALL of the Midlands airports to offer a blinding deal to Easy doesn't seem to have come to anything.
