Well I concurr with 411a on this one, instead of a ban, why dont you go on strike. Thats how real unions get things done, thats how Australia ended with 35-40 hr week and 4 weeks holiday a year and 17.5 loading, 3 months long service etc. etc.
My Dad was a member of the FEDFA, a very strong union in the sixties and seventies, striking got results , not punitative bans.

Intestinal fortitude Sir is required, not a ban that requires no work from its working members, and compulsory cooperation from its pending members. Seems unrealistic to me. Put your money where your mouth is, if you want it, go get it, dont p#ss in the wind.

The responses in this forum, and others, surely justify something more than what your doing. No Guts no Glory I say, get on with, bring it on.
If you do, it will prove your unity to your fraternity and justify what your doing for the beginners.

May I ask what other measures, are the union taking?
From the outside seems to be a real stalemate at the moment.

Too me it sounds like 49 of your troops are down, but your staying in the trenches, no one wants to go over the top so to speak

Or are the conditions really not that bad
