I am flying as an airline pilot in Canada and I'm also in charge of the flight training and I can tell you that we are now in a huge hiring wave in Canada.
Air Canada, Jazz, Porter, westjet are lowering their requirements. I am pretty sure this will last for a few years. Flight schools are almost empty compared to 10 years ago!
