Qantas may have been an iconic brand, with a heritage, and a heart and soul..........
....but its still a legacy carrier with a legacy carriers costs.
Until the Aussie Dollar weakens, and concessions made which bring employee numbers and costs down to that of Virgin or lower, it will be a very sick airline.
The QF employees want someone to come in and make them feel loved, and somehow finance a load of B777 orders, without lowering their own costs.
Qantas is gone without the employees changing their attitude.
Look at this forum, you turn off the QF engines, but the whining continues.
