Sadly, the Sussex Pad closed down on 27th May after 400 years. New owners are the adjacent Lancing College. But try 01273-454647. Nearer Goodwood is the Avisford Park Hotel, on the A27 ... I think it may be a Hilton now. 01243-558300 OR Bailiffscourt Hotel (very nice) 01903-723511. If you fancy something a bit expensive, but quite superb. Amberley Castle Hotel. 01798-831992.
