In fairness I don't think the queues at cork are bad at all. Even early in the morning they move quickly, they usually have 3 scanners open, iirc. With 4 EI A320s a pair of FR 738s and a pair of EI regionals and possibly an overnighting MON there are up to 1398 passengers moving through the security channels. Certainly over a thousand, not an insignificant number, given the size of the airport.
